JOB DETAILS

The Server Assistant is responsible for cleaning, setting, and maintenance of tables and delivering food to guest tables or assigned or designated seating areas, while providing a fun, clean, and safe atmosphere according to standards and expectations.

• Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests. 
• Clear and clean tables, chairs, and floors as needed. 
• Reset tables per standards. 
• Run and deliver food from the kitchen to the guest tables. 
• Provide and replenish water throughout the meal to the guest. 
• Complete opening and closing side work. 
• Maintain adequate supply of ice in service stations and ice bins. 
• Ensure all side stations are stocked. 
• Ensure all To-Go items are stocked. 
• Provide quick and attentive assistance to all guests. 
• Keep work area neat and clean. 
• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

The position of Food & Beverage Host is responsible for the successful operation of greeting guests, promoting sale of food & beverages and maintaining accurate records of transactions.

• Greet guests, visitors and team members in a friendly and courteous manner. 
• Take orders, help fill orders, and check all orders for accuracy. 
• Maintain adequate inventory in the food stands. 
• Operate the Touch Screen Point of Sale system (POS) for food and beverage purchases. 
• Understand park menu and pricing. 
• Receiving payment for selected items and return change as necessary. 
• Account for daily receipts and properly secure per company policies. 
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of operations receipts and maintain proper security measures over receipts, records and cash.

JOB DETAILS

In this combined position, you will have the opportunity to gain some great experience since you will work as: kitchen prep, food expeditor, food runner and dishwasher. You will be working in the following capacity:

• Kitchen Prep: will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
• Food expeditor : acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the waitstaff, which ensures a steady workflow throughout the various departments of a restaurant. As an expeditor you will also finalize the presentation of each plate.
• Food Runner: responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders, and removing used dishes and utensils. If you’d like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent dining experience, we’d like to meet you. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner.
• Dishwasher: responsible for cleaning dishes in a foodservice environment to ensure that there is always plenty of clean tableware at hand. When washing, they prioritize different types and sizes of crockery and kitchen utensils. They are in charge of loading the dishwasher and placing dishes on drying racks to be put away properly when done using.

REQUIREMENTS

You will be expected to arrive at work on time, every day, and dressed in the proper uniform. You will be expected to make sure you perform your job responsibilities as taught in training and according to company standards.

Host company will supply the company t shirt and please bring comfortable pants or shorts and slip proof shoes.

You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and public areas in a clean and orderly condition. Guest rooms may include bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, living areas, fireplaces, and balconies or porches. Bay Shore Resort maintains high standards for cleanliness and guest service.

As a Hospitality Crew Member at Bay Shore Resort, you’ll be part of an exciting cultural exchange through the J-1 Work and Travel Program. In this seasonal role, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in the U.S. hospitality industry while helping create memorable guest experiences. This is not just a job—it’s an opportunity to experience American culture, improve your English, build customer service skills, and meet people from around the world.

Hospitality Crewmembers are responsible for laundry and housekeeping, kitchen and dining help, guest services, front desk, and groundskeeping/maintenance. Your employer may ask you to perform other duties related to your job type. 

You will receive on-the-job training to help you learn your responsibilities and understand our company standards. While you are expected to work independently once trained, managers and supervisors are available to provide guidance and support throughout your program.

JOB DETAILS

Housekeepers/Hotel Assistants are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of  the Hotel guest rooms. This includes making beds, cleaning the floors, dusting, cleaning the bathrooms, emptying trash cans. While this may be the primary work you will do, as a Hotel Assistant you will also be trained to work in the following positions:

Front Desk Support - Checking guests in and out of the hotel, answering questions, answering the phone and other related duties.

Front Desk Assistant - Assisting the Front Desk Team.

Breakfast Attendant - Setting up, stocking, tearing down the continental breakfast set up for the guests each day.

You will have the opportunity to learn all of the positions in the hotel and your assigned tasks may rotate daily or weekly depending on the business needs of the hotel.

You will be the smiling face of Dolle’s that our customers first see when you greet them as they walk into the store. We are looking for energetic, outgoing, bubbly, and friendly people who enjoy working with the public. Must have a “Can Do & Willingness” attitude. Duties include but not limited to:

• Waiting on customers, selling popcorn & candy in a fast-paced environment 
• Clean store before shift ends 
• Handling sales in accurate manner which will include entering sales in a cash register, taking money, counting out correct change (coins/bills), giving change (coins/bills), to guests, and completing credit card transactions 
• Wrapping items and/or placing items in a bag for guests 
• Greeting all guests as they enter the store in a timely manner 
• Assisting or advising guests on their purchases 
• Suggesting other merchandise items to go with the guest’s original selection (up-sell) 
• Advising guest on amenities outside of our retail location Stocking and inventory of merchandise items 
• Maintaining and cleaning all retail areas including stock room, display areas, floors, and cash register/check-out area 
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

Superior customer service skills are a must. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills will be needed. You must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. This position requires being able to work in a very fast paced environment.

Work shirts & hats free unless you leave, are terminated, or do not return them. Bring comfortable toed shoes to stand in for long periods. Modest length shorts/pants of khaki/solid earth tone color ONLY. All uniforms must be free from any rips & stains.

HOUSING
