The Room Attendant is responsible for achieving and maintaining an exceptional standard of cleaniness throughout the guest rooms of the hotel. The room attendant vacuums, sweeps, scrub, mops and cleans carpet and flooring in guest rooms. Dusts, brushes,polishes, cleans and vaccums furniture,flass,mirrors,curtains. Must keep their assigned floor cleaned daily. 

Line Cook Responsibilities include: Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Kitchen Help position you will have the opportunity to master and work in multiple positions: Pizza Cook: In this position you will prepare high-quality pizza ingredients such as: dough, sauces, and toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Cook pizzas that satisfy our customers’ expectations. Monitor inventory and communicate with a supervisor when stock and supplies are running low.

Line Cook: In this position, your primary goal will be to prepare high quality meals. To be successful in this role, the ideal participant will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customers’ satisfaction. 

Prep Cook: In this position you are responsible for the preparation of cooking ingredients according to recipes and specifications that will be utilized by the Line cooks. These individuals will follow prep lists, which could include basic kitchen tasks such as: measuring ingredients to be used in recipes, washing, and chopping produce, mixing sauces, parboiling food, and ensuring the quality of cooked/prepared food by testing them. Prep cooks are responsible for the detection and disposal of spoiled foods that do not meet the company’s standards.

REQUIREMENTS

You will be expected to arrive to work on time, every day, and dressed in proper uniform.  You will be expected to make sure you perform your job responsibilities as taught in training and according to company standards. Since you will interact with the guest’s, advanced English is required.

This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, folding linens, removing dirty linens and towels from rooms, removing garbage, and assisting with the laundry. This is a physical demanding job that requires someone who is motivated and willing to work hard. This position is not recommended for those who have allergies to cleaning chemicals.

Sand Bar at Adventure Bay has everything our guests are looking for in an island adventure. Inside Sand Bar guests find warm sand under their toes as they kick back and play corn hole, yard jenga, spike ball or get into the competitive mode and play beach or pool volleyball! Guests can rent a cabana for the day and have their own private location to relax.

The Pool Staff/Groundskeeping role supports the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and general operations of the pool area and surrounding grounds.

This position ensures a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment for guests. Participants must appreciate hard work; enjoy working with and for others; take pride in a job well done; and be committed to providing first-class service to guests.

The work is highly customer oriented. Participants must be willing to do various cleaning jobs and must be willing to work on their feet all day. This is a great job for someone who likes to move around a lot and not stay in one place for their entire shift.

REQUIREMENTS

Superior customer service skills are a must. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills will be needed. You must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. This position requires being able to work in a very fast paced environment.

Housekeepers perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain guest rooms and/or public hallway areas in a clean and orderly manner. Guest rooms may include bedrooms, toilet/showers area, kitchen, living area, fireplace, and deck/porch.  Job duties include: removing and collecting linens for laundering and transporting them to designated areas, cleaning rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner, dusting furniture and equipment, emptying wastebaskets and cleaning them inside and out, cleaning tiled floors with the use of mops and brooms, using chemical based products to clean tubs, sinks, countertops, mirrors, toilets, door panels and shower curtains, transporting all trash and waste to disposal areas as instructed, removing items from refrigerator and microwave, cleaning refrigerator, microwave and any additional appliances inside and out. 

REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrate a high level of customer service, keep supervisor/manager informed of guest issues/complaints, room damage, etc. Attend team meetings and training. Perform all duties in a safe, efficient, and quality manner. Employees may be asked to move to a different location or job assignment within the property, as needed.  Other duties may be assigned. Training will be provided, however once the busy season hits you will need to work independently at a fast pace. Tips are not a guarantee but could be earned from the guest.

Candy Counter and Beach Counter Employees are responsible for greeting all clients throughout the day. Must be present during the pre-shift lineup meeting and understand all specials being offered that day. Must have knowledge of the menu and beverages offered including knowledge of allergies. Must have knowledge of all retail items available. Maintain cleanliness throughout service. Attend to all guests needs, ensure orders are properly charged, and any issues are resolved quickly.  Responsible to help other team members with orders, cleaning table, folding shirts, or other tasks they may need assistance with. Complete all closing duties to ensure all facilities are prepared for the next shift.

Welcome customers as they enter the store in a polite and pleasant manner.

• Respond to customers’ questions and inquiries regarding available items.

• Provide detailed information regarding different brands, and options, in a bid to assist customers in making purchasing decision.

• Provide customers with baskets or bags to collect their candies in, and ensure that those candies which are sold by the pound are weighed properly.

• Assist customers in choosing items, based on their specific and individual choices.

• Ascertain that all chosen candies and chocolates are properly packed or wrapped, as instructed by customers.

• Scan each item, ensuring that the correct price has been displayed, and total all items.

• Encourage customers to make additional purchases, to ensure that sales targets are met.

• Process cash and credit card transactions, and ensure that change and receipts are tendered.

• Receive product deliveries from suppliers, and ensure that they are properly stored until it is time for them to be displayed.

• Stock shelves and fridges  ensuring that the 4Ps of marketing are kept into account.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent customer service, handling currency and giving correct change, weighing candy and other store products, cleaning and working with chemicals.

Advanced English skills required. Outstanding customer service skills needed. Ability to stand on feet for longer periods of time/entire shift.
