L'Etoile is a chef-owned and operated restaurant located in a restored historic whaling captain's house, on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard.
L'étoile Restaurant was established in May of 1986.. l'etoile's welcoming and cozy location is highlighted by its contemporary and casually elegant dining rooms and tented garden terrace areas offering outdoor dining in warmer months.

The Prep Cook will be responsible for several important areas of the kitchen. Your duties could include:
Preparing food products and menu items to specifications. Re-stocking all supplies in the assigned areas. General kitchen cleaning duties including the cleaning and mopping of kitchen floors and trash removal.

Baja Amusements is a Family Entertainment Center with a 10-acre fun park offering family-friendly activities such as go-karts, mini golf, bumper boats plus a snack bar. The park has been family owned and operated for over 30 years and is a must-see spot for vacationers in Ocean City, Maryland, one of the United States' top tourist destinations on the Atlantic Ocean.

The Track Attendent is responsible for assisting and directing customers during track and/or ride operations. Attendants must be familiar with all safety regulations and information and be able to communicate this information to guests.

REQUIREMENTS

Advanced English skills and the ability to communicate with guests. Outstanding Guests Service skills. Must be able to stand up to 8 hours at a time. Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions, including direct sunlight.

HOUSING

Housing is provided at $110/week. Rooms have 2 people per room. All utilities, wifi, cable tv, washer and dryer, and kitchen amenities are included.

HOUSING

Housing is provided by the employer. Room & Board is $13.50 per day - the dormitory cost is $4.00 per day and meals are $9.50 per day,for a total of $94.50 per week for housing and meals.

JOB DETAILS

Housekeepers assist in the cleaning and maintenance of Hotel guest rooms as well as public spaces. You will be required to interact with and use cleaning and sanitation products such as bleach, soaps, detergents, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Employees must appreciate hard work; enjoy working with and for others; take pride in a job well done; and be committed to providing first-class service to guests. The work is highly customer oriented. Employees must be willing to do various cleaning jobs and must be willing to work on their feet all day. This is a great job for someone who likes to move around a lot and not stay in one place for their entire shift.

HOUSING

Housing will be provided and the cost is $50/week. Housing is on-site at Clinton Inn & Suites. One room with one bathroom will be shared among 4 participants of the same gender. Room features two sets of bunk beds, a microwave, and refrigerator. Rent is $50 per week, and is payroll deducted.

JOB DETAILS

Marina Retail attendants are responsible for greeting all boats coming to the marina, assisting them in the needs they have, be it Fuel, Ice, Bait, Tackle, or boating goods. They are responsible for keeping their area neat and orderly to ensure safety. Marina store associates will handle the interior of the ship store, including but not limited to Cash Handling, Cash register work, stocking, cleaning, helping with retail staff to stock, straighten, etc. Maintain a clean and orderly store by routine checks of workspace and retail areas.

Pool Deck Attendants have to: Open all umbrellas and ensure stands are secure. Line up all loungers and ensure all backs are in proper placement. Ensure all cocktail tables are set per diagram. Ensure all tables and chairs are set per diagram. Put out cushions for raised deck. Turn TV's on. Place all games out on deck. Ensure Indoor Pool is set per diagram. Set-up water station with cups - restock as needed. Squeegee water to drains in indoor pool & clean any stains left behind. Empty all 5 trash cans.

REQUIREMENTS

Both positions are busy, fast paced, you must be able to multitask, be friendly, outgoing, and have a drive to please all guests. 

You must bring khaki shorts, closed toe tennis shoes, and shirt provided at no cost.

JOB DETAILS

Typical responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, laundry, mopping and waxing floors and changing and laundering linen. Some housekeeper/maid positions also require cooking or food preparation and heavy cleaning, like cleaning windows and furniture.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in a team setting, as well as bend and lift.

Uniform shirt provided. Must bring blank pants and shoes (no hole).

You will be responsible for selling fudge; ice cream and other Fudgery products. You will work as a team to keep the store stocked and clean.

As the Candymaker you are the main attraction of The Fudgery! You will be making fudge in front of customers and entertaining them while you do it.

REQUIREMENTS

The Fudgery provides work shirts for all employees. Participants must provide khaki trousers and tennis shoes to complete their uniform.

A professional image is required. No facial piercings are permitted. Tattoos must be covered with a bandage if they are visible while in Uniform. Men are not permitted to wear earrings. Men must be clean shaven daily.

$100.00

There is a $500 deposit that will be returned if the participant stays for the entirety of their contract.

Housekeepers assist in the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public spaces. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, folding linens, removing dirty linens and towels from rooms, removing garbage, and assisting with the laundry. This role is physically demanding and requires someone who is motivated and willing to work hard. You should be able to work independently and follow directions from your manager. 

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to clean guest rooms to standards and to work with cleaning chemicals, ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time.

HOUSING

$94.50 - Shutters On the Banks Employee Housing Housing is provided by the employer and is located within walking distance of the work location. Housing has 3 bedrooms with 2-4 people per bedroom. Housing is completely furnished and all utilities are included. You will be required to pay your housing security deposit of $250 and first two weeks' rent of $189 in order to begin work.
