The Salespeople are the face of The Fudgery! They use their outstanding personalities and welcoming smile to draw customers in and make them want to come back. You will be responsible for selling fudge; ice cream and other Fudgery products. You will work as a team to keep the store stocked and clean.

As the Candymaker you are the main attraction of The Fudgery! You will be making fudge in front of customers and entertaining them while you do it.

REQUIREMENTS

The Fudgery provides work shirts for all employees. Participants must provide khaki trousers and tennis shoes to complete their uniform.

A professional image is required. No facial piercings are permitted. Tattoos must be covered with a bandage if they are visible while in Uniform. Men are not permitted to wear earrings. Men must be clean shaven daily.

HOUSING

$100.00

There is a $500 deposit that will be returned if the participant stays for the entirety of their contract.

JOB DETAILS

Employees at Mike's are trained to work on a variety of tasks and frequently change their role throughout the day to accommodate business needs. Typical tasks for participants include: unloading delivery trucks, icing the seafood showcases, preparing seafood and take out containers, waiting on customers, breading seafood, busing tables, kitchen prep, cooking (if participants is qualified to do so), handing out menus, cleaning up at days end, e. g. washing dishes, mopping up, hosing down dock, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills needed. You must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. This position requires ability to work in a very fast paced environment and some work can be physically strenuous

HOUSING

$125/week

Housing is provided by the Host Company in a 4 bedroom home located across the street from the Host Company. 

The home is fully furnished with a full kitchen, air conditioning, washer and dryer, and wifi. Bedding and towels are provided.

Housing is co-ed, with both men and woman living in the home. Women have their own bedrooms and bathroom, and men have their own bedrooms and bathroom in another part of the home. Men and women cannot share bedrooms.

While housing is just across the street from the work location it is also just 3 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from the bus station, and 2 blocks from the grocery store.

Bikes are avaliable for participants who prefer not to walk. The home will be shared with up to 12 participants ( 3-4 people per bedroom) and is across the street from the Host Company.

JOB DETAILS

You may work in various jobs in the amusement center as a ride attendant, game master, information desk, cashier, or in the bowling center.  All jobs include great guest service, cleaning duties and very good English skills.  Responsible for supervising, monitoring, repairing, and attending to park rides, including boarding and securing passengers, starting rides, and ensuring passengers exit safely.  May also work at information booth, and/or food booth - taking orders and making food.  Various other job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Very good English skills, customer service skills.

HOUSING

$100/week

Security Deposit $200-Refundable if the program is completed and room is clean and no damage. Security deposit must be paid on-line when contract is signed to guarantee the reservation . If the deposit is not paid we will not guarantee the bed. Deposit must be paid at least 30 days in advance before arrival. If for any reason they need to cancel the contract it has to be cancel 14 days before arrival to get a full security deposit refund. $75 administration fee $35 laundry fee

◾Due before or upon arrival: $300 deposit + 2 weeks rent ($200) = $500

◾If you are fired or quit from your Host Company you forfeit your entire deposit and are responsible for the remaining balance of the rent.

◾Laundry is located onsite, free unlimited washer and dryer use.

Line cook: Prepare and cook food.

Room attendant:

• Vacuums, sweeps, scrub, mops and cleans carpet and flooring in guest rooms.
• Dusts, brushes,polishes, cleans and vaccums furniture,flass,mirrors,curtains.
• Must keep their assigned floor cleaned daily.
• Scrubs, disinfects and deodorizes showers, toilets, wash basins and other bathroom vanity fixtures.
• Removes trash and debris from guest rooms

REQUIREMENTS

Must be hard-working; have attention to detail. Should be be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.Must have good English skills

Each room has their own bathroom, and 2 public restrooms on site

JOB DETAILS

Prep Cooks will prepare raw foods for recipes, make recipes, cook foods for menu items and other duties as requested including washing dishes or other cleaning tasks. There may be other job duties assigned, that are not listed, at the discretion of the manager/supervisor Although hired as a prep cook, you should be prepared to work in any area of the restaurant where help may be needed.

Line Cooks are responsible for preparing food orders per recipe guidelines. Cooks will work at all areas of the line ( Fryer, Grill, over, pizza station, steamers, salad station) to prepare dishes assigned to that area. The Cooks will work together to ensure that food qualify is consistent. Cooks are expected to clean all work stations throughout their shift, as well as at the end of the day, which consists of scrubbing equipment, organizing items, sweeping, and mopping the floors. There may be other job duties assigned, that are not listed, at the discretion of the manager/supervisor. 

The main responsibilities of the dishwasher are to collect dirty dishes from the dining room, wash all dishes, and return them to their proper place once they have been cleaned. At the end of each shift, it will also be the dishwasher's responsibility to clean the dish station, sinks, and floor. At other times, based on business needs, a participant may be asked to assist in bussing tables in the dining room, wash windows, sweep floors and sidewalks, mop floors, general kitchen prep work, and any other job that will aid the restaurant.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to read and understand recipes quickly is required. Knife use skills and understanding of U.S. Unit Measurements needed. Previous Restaurant kitchen/cooking experience preferred but not required.

HOUSING

$100/week

Rent is $100 per person/per week. There is a $150 housing deposit that will be returned to you at the end of you program, as long as you do not leave your job early, are not terminated from your job, leave the house and room exactly the way it was when you arrived and do not move out of housing before the date agreed to on your job offer. Participants who quit their job, are terminated from the job, who do not leave the house in clean and appropriate order or who move out of housing early will not be eligible for a refund of the housing deposit. The rent and deposit will be deducted from the paycheck on a bi-weekly basis once you arrive and start working.

JOB DETAILS

Responsible for preparing food in a fast and efficient manner according to the standards set for the menu items; maintain high food quality standards as well as reasonable speed of preparation of all menu items; set up and breakdown of assigned work station as well as sanitation of immediate work area; lift heavy pots and pans up to 50 lbs.; you may assist with washing dishes, and assisting in other areas of the restaurant as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS

The work is highly customer oriented. Participants  must be willing to do various cleaning jobs and must be willing to work on their feet all day. This is a great job for someone who likes to move around a lot and not stay in one place for their entire shift.

HOUSING

$120.00/week

Rent is $120 per week/ per person Rent will be paid in cash each week. The owners live on the same street and will collect the rent in person and check on the house. A $200 security deposit, and first week's rent, is due at time of move in. The security deposit will be returned to you, provided you stay the entire length of your agreement and do not cause damage to the home. Participants who are terminated from their jobs, or choose to leave their jobs will need to move out of Employee Housing and will not receive a refund of their security deposit. A total of $320 ( first week's rent and security deposit) is due at time of move in.

JOB DETAILS

Housekeepers perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain guest rooms and/or public hallway areas in a clean and orderly manner. Guest rooms may include bedrooms, toilet/showers area, kitchen, living area, fireplace, and deck/porch.

Job duties include: removing and collecting linens for laundering and transporting them to designated areas, cleaning rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner, dusting furniture and equipment, emptying wastebaskets and cleaning them inside and out, cleaning tiled floors with the use of mops and brooms, using chemical based products to clean tubs, sinks, countertops, mirrors, toilets, door panels and shower curtains, transporting all trash and waste to disposal areas as instructed, removing items from refrigerator and microwave, cleaning refrigerator, microwave and any additional appliances inside and out.

Beach Bum West O has high standards of cleanliness and guest service. You will be expected to make sure you perform your job responsibilities as taught in training and according to company standards.

HOUSING

$225/week

Weekly cost is $225 per week with a housing deposit of $225 due at time of move in. The deposit is returnable at the end of the program provided you do not move out of housing early and do not cause damage to the Housing.

JOB DETAILS

Housekeepers are responsible for  the cleaning and maintenance of Hotel guest rooms as well as assisting in the cleaning of hotel public spaces. You will be required to interact with and use cleaning and sanitation products such as bleach, soaps, detergents, etc. You must arrive by the date agreed upon at the interview, and listed on your work offer, and are expected to work until the last day listed on your work offer.

REQUIREMENTS

You will be expected to arrive to work on time, every day, and dressed in proper uniform. Participants must maintain proper grooming and hygiene in accordance to Sheraton's standards, and must present a conservative appearance when working.

HOUSING

$75.00/week

There will be a one-time $150 deposit upon arrival which will be returned under the conditions that the employee has remained until the AGREED TO EMPLOYMENT END DATE ON THE JOB OFFER, and under the condition that the room is returned in good condition. All utilities included.

Primary job duties include merchandising, stocking, rotating product, cleaning, and answering customer questions about products and services offered.

Deli clerk: As a key member of the Deli department, the Deli Clerk assists our customers in choosing high quality and unique meat, cheese, and other various specialty Deli items, including convenient meal solutions. Deli/Prep Clerks work in a fast paced, multitasked environment. Primary job duties include merchandising, stocking, rotating product, cutting products per customer request, creating customer ordered sandwiches/salads/pizzas, cleaning, and answering customer questions about products and services offered.

REQUIREMENTS

Employee will need to wear khakis or jeans and closed-toe, non-slip shoes. TFM will provide tops and caps. Must be dressed neatly in clothes that are clean, un-wrinkled, well-fitting and in good condition.
